How we can help

We offer personalized guidance and support throughout the process of having your child assessed,  from recommendations to helping demystify the assessment results. We meet with parents, children and teachers on an ongoing basis to ensure that all team members have a positive understanding of your child as a learner.

We will work with school support teams to ensure that your child's IEP is carefully created and kept fluid as your child grows and develops. We help with decisions including best choices for accommodations, modifications and behavioural suggestions. We coach teachers and parents in understanding which recommendations best suit the needs of your growing student.

Our academic coaches work with students of all ages and skill levels to develop study skills, time management strategies, and organizational techniques using both assistive technologies and innovative strategies. At home support is a key element to successful school life.  We help students become confident and independent learners.

We offer to be a hub for prioritizing and coordinating services including occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, psychotherapy and special equipment services.  We work with school administration and special education teachers to ensure adequate communication between outside supports and the school, including interventions and remediation services, creating a circle of support for your student. 

We offer assistance for new families entering the country as well as for families living in Toronto in helping them make informed decisions for appropriate school placement based on individual students needs, strengths and desires.
