At Kerbel Educational Consulting, our mission is to provide personalized educational consulting services to students, parents and professionals. We believe that every student, at every stage in their academic career, has unique strengths and challenges, and we work closely with parents, students and community educators to help them achieve their full potential.

With over 24 years experience, I have worked in education as a Primary Classroom teacher, Special Education Resource teacher, Literacy Coach, Head of Special Education and Coordinator of Learning Support as well as a Learning Strategist across grades from JK to Grade 12. I lead with a passion for special education and diversified learning with expertise in reading remediation and executive functioning development.

I am committed to helping those students with challenging learning profiles. I collaborate with parents, teachers and school administrators to target specific supports and remediation paths to suit individual student needs. Coaching teachers in the areas of accommodations and modifications across the curriculum to diversify learning profiles is my area of experience and passion. I enjoy mentoring teachers and coaching families to ensure the implementation of best practices through managing formal and informal documentation with long term plans for secondary school and beyond.

We offer a range of highly individualized services to help students understand themselves as learners, and help to develop strategies and skills that will promote life long learners who are set up to be successful in each stage of their academic career. We coach parents to gain an understanding of their child's profile, to reinforce strategies, to work with schools and outside service providers to ensure a solid circle of support for students.
